Packing lunch without getting bored

Leftovers, a few staples and a good container.

5 min read

Buying lunch every workday is one of the biggest everyday costs. Packing lunch two or three days a week already makes a big difference.

Easy lunches

  • Last night's dinner, cooked with one extra portion
  • Grain bowls: rice, beans, vegetables and a sauce
  • Wraps and sandwiches with a few rotating fillings
  • Big-batch soup frozen in portions
  • Snack-style boxes: cheese, crackers, fruit, vegetables, eggs

Make it stick

Pack lunch the night before, and keep a backup option at work, like soup or oatmeal, for busy mornings.
